MEDIA: Thrill Seekers Wanted

After last year’s success of the Dawesville Bridge Swing in Western Australia, the not-for-profit organisation Urban Descent is bringing the swing back. From the 30th of November to the 2nd of December, the swing will be set up on the 20-meter-high Dawesville bridge.

Urban Descent creator Terry Hewett set up the organisation to encourage philanthropy and community connections through unique and exciting ways. So, this year’s Bridge Swing event asks for participants to raise money for charities like Cancer Council, Make-A-Wish Australia, Australian Alzheimer’s Foundation and more, through mycause.com.au.

Participants can register on the Dawesville Bridge Swing event page and then set up their personal fundraising campaign for the charity that means the most to them. Urban Descent hopes each participant can fundraise a minimum of $750 so that all of these great charities can continue their work.
