A group of female rangers from the Adelaide Hills and Mount Lofty Ranges will be dying their hair green to raise money for The Thin Green Line Foundation, a charity that supports Park Rangers and their communities who are the front-line of conservation. They work predominantly in developing nations and conflict zones, and with Indigenous Park Rangers within Australia and abroad.
This group is only one of many groups of women across Australia who are participating in the campaign to raise enough money to support five Aboriginal Australian rangers to attend
the international congress run by International Ranger Foundation (IRF)
The IRF hosts an international congress in a different part of the world every three years to bring rangers together and share resources and knowledge. The congress will be held in Nepal later this year.
