Community Rallies Around Injured Artist Tanya Stubbles

The Coledale community has rallied around local artist Tanya Stubbles after she suffered a serious accident just before Christmas.

Tanya spent Christmas in intensive care at a Sydney hospital and is expected to remain in hospital for at least four more months. 

Lyn Stubbles, Tanya's mother, told the Illawarra Mercury that despite showing signs of improvement, Tanya has a long way to go with her recovery. 

"She is showing signs of improvement but she will be in hospital for some time and will need a lot of rehabilitation and support."
