Carers Crowdfund for Beach Wheelchair

Carers Mick Blattner and Rebekah Dempsey are raising funds for Kenny, who would love to get a beach wheelchair. 

Kenny loves to float in the water, as it offers him a chance to relax and have some freedom of movement which is otherwise impossible in his daily life.

Ms Dempsey told the South Coast Register that Kenny loves spending time at the beach and "lights up" when he is able to spend the day amongst the sand and water. 

"The first time I took him to the water I actually cried after I saw the joy come out of him."
