Community Helps Cooper Fulfil School Dream

The first year of primary school can be scary for any student, but five-year-old Cooper Campbell from Mirboo North is eager to get started.

Cooper has Cerebral Palsy and cannot walk, sit or crawl without assistance. Despite the obstacles in his path, Cooper is determined to start his classes and spend some time with other children.

Cooper’s parents Tina Larrad and Russell Campbell are currently raising funds on mycause for a standing frame and a high to low chair for Cooper to use during class activities.

Tina told local paper the Great Southern Star that it was “excited to see Cooper given the opportunity to socialise with other children outside of the home.”

“We just want Cooper to have a sense of independence and to feel like every other child. His success on school relies on the purchase of this equipment.”
