Crowdfunding for Nepal was a success on mycause

In an incredible display of compassion, empathy and kindness, the mycause community have raised over $102,000 for those hit by the #NepalQuake. 

On the 25th of April Nepal was decimated by a strong and shallow shaking earthquake that killed thousands, destroyed countless homes and flattened many of the nation's cultural icons. 

Climbers on Mt Everest felt the quake too with base camp being hit by a devistating avalance. 

Then, 2 weeks, later another quake hit the nation already reeling from the first shock. More people were killed and more people were injured.

Thrugh this whole time the mycause community rallied to raise money for recovery and aid efforts in the region. 

We had a flurry of different types of campaigns set up. Everything from supplies, to shelter, to backpackers going into the quake zone and even crowdfunding sending a Nepalese boy home to help his family.
