"Janette and the kids need all the support they can get at the moment to help take the pressure off what is going to be the hardest year of her and her children's lives."
Janette was 40 weeks pregnant when the heartbreaking news was delivered.
The story of Austin's tragic passing and Janette's struggle to piece her life back together made headlines across the country, and was covered in the Daily Mail, iTV, the Courier Mail, Seven News Queensland, the Herald Sun, Nine News Queensland, Essential Baby and the Adelaide Advertiser.
"[Austin] was fully expecting the bub to come over the weekend", Janette told the Courier-Mail.
Janette has thanked everyone for their contributions and suport and knows that this will help her get through the tough times ahead.
"Right now, this is overwhelming," said Janette in a Facebook post.
"In two months, six months or a year from now, I think the emptiness and harsh reality of losing my best friend, protector and rock scares me. That is when I'll really need your help."
There has been a flood of support from friends and strangers alike on the mycause campaign for Janette and the children.
Over $27,000 has been raised for Janette and the children so far, with people continuing to donate to this young and grieving family. You can support Janette and her children by going to the mycause campaign.
