Role reversal as caring Anj Aitken finds friends ready to help

Life has certainly changed in a rapid and dramatic fashion since mum of three Anj Aitken discovered that she had terminal cancer. 

After spending years caring for the people around her, both in her personal life and her professional life as a podiatrist, Anj's friends and fmaily have united to help Anj as much as they can. 

Friend Deb Haygarth tells the Geelong Advertiser that Anj has "always been the carer."

"Anj's alwaus been the first person to offer a hand to anyone needing it. She always went above and beyond for her family, band mates, her podiatry clients and everyone close to her."
