MEDIA: Solo Motorcycle Ride Around India

Mandurah man John Nye will be attempting to make a new Guinness World Record by riding a motorcycle solo and unassisted across the four corners of India, which is equivalent to about 14,000km, in 30 days or less. The current record is 34 days.

Leaving for his ride on the 31st of July, John will be riding to raise money for the new Peel Youth Medical Services Health Hub, which is due to open in late October. Peel Youth Medical Service (PYMS) provides confidential health services in a safe non-judgmental environment with a focus on young people, aged 12 – 25 years of age. PYMS aims to promote wellness by improving the mental, social and physical health of young people in the Peel region.

So far John has raised over $6,600 of his $10,000 goal and is grateful to his Halls Head community for their generous support, both now with their donations, and previously with their support during a difficult time and the family’s loss.
