MEDIA: Samuel Johnson and a night of fun in Torquay

Beloved actor and 2018 Victorian Australian of the Year, Samuel Johnson, will talk openly with the community about his life and work when he sits down for a talk show event in Torquay this Friday night 1 July 2022. 

“An Evening with Samuel Johnson” promises to be hilarious, heart-warming, and also poignant with the focus of the talk being running his cancer charity Love Your Sister, and advocating for access to precision medicine.

The event, being held at the Torquay Surf Lifesaving Club, is a fundraiser and all proceeds are going to Love Your Sister. 

Since its inception in 2012, Love Your Sister has raised over $15 million for medical cancer research, receiving donations from millions of Australians committed to advocating for access to the best new medical research and care technologies.
