MEDIA: Dining with Heart

Sacred Heart Mission has been feeding homeless people on $4 a head for ages, but now, their influencer chef Shannon Martinez has issued a challenge for herself and her fellow cooks and chefs to work with the same budget. The results have been incredible. Many chefs have joined in and created wonderful dishes for under $4 a serve. (See some recipes at goodfood.com.au)

Along with her challenge, Martinez has signed up to Dine with Heart @ Home, to host her $4 Cook Off and raise money for Sacred Heart Mission.

Chefs are not the only ones getting involved though, many people who simply care about the cause have registered to host a morning tea, lunch or dinner and raise money for the charity, like Tania, who is hosting a lunch to celebrate her birthday and has asked all her friends and family to donate to her fundraising page in lieu of gifts.

Schools and workplaces are also participating through Dine with Heart @ School and Dine with Heart @ Work
