MEDIA: Aria's Brave Battle

When Aria and her twin brother Axel were born, their parents were absolutely overjoyed. The two seemingly healthy babies reached their important milestones, although Axel did reach them a little late, the family had no indication that anything might be wrong.

Unfortunately, at around the age of 9 months, baby Aria began to deteriorate, no longer being able to do things she used to, such as sitting or holding her head up. As it was during the height of Covid, Aria's mother took her to the hospital alone, and had no one with her when the doctors informed her that her baby girl was diagnosed with Vanishing White Matter Disease.

Although Aria was only given a day to live, four months on and she is still fighting for her life.

Aria's aunt Rebecca created a fundraising page  to raise vital funds for research in to her niece's disease, in hopes that Aria can be with her family for as long as possible.
