Lifting the Bar—Athletes Set to Represent Australia

Powerlifting athletes Kristie Matthews and Alisa ‘AJ’ Edwards will be competing in the 63-kilogram powerlifting category, representing Australia in Canada at the 2015 Commonwealth Championships.

The friends have started a mycause campaign to crowdfund for their accommodation, uniforms, insurance and flights.

“There’s no monetary reward connected to what we do,” Edwards told the Canberra Courier.
