Kids Fundraising for a Cause
Kids are leading the way in fundraising for a cause they are passionate about.
Kids of all ages are making a difference with their creativity and positive attitude.
Across Australia, children are fundraising, raising awareness, setting challenges, and even baking for a cause.
Their successes are inspiring others to make a positive impact, no matter how small, or how young!
Read about some of our favourite young fundraisers.
Fundraising for Awareness
Ella is saddened to see animals in the ocean suffering from plastic pollution (pictured above).
She decided to take matters into her own hands by fundraising for marine wildlife conservation charity, Sea Shepherd.
Ella set herself the challenge of trying to minimise waste in her local neighbourhood. She set up a mycause fundraising page to collect donations for Sea Shepherd, and set about picking up bags full of rubbish every day from around Helensburgh.
Since starting her fundraising campaign, Ella has been dubbed a 'plastic warrior'.
A number of local businesses in Helensburgh have joined in to help Ella's Save the Sea campaign.
The businesses began hosting fundraisers and spreading awareness of Ella's hard work cleaning up the local area.
So far, Ella has exceeded her target raising $360 thanks to the community's efforts.
What a powerful impact from a young fundraiser!
Fundraising for Wildlife
Cameron and Annabelle are fundraising for vulnerable and endangered animals.
Annabelle loves puppies and decided to raise funds for
PTSD Dogs Australia, where the dogs help to make people happy.
The children created a
mycause fundrasing page that allows them to
split the funds raised between the two charities.
The young siblings developed a great and simple fundraising plan to help them reach their target of $500.
They hosted a Jellybean Guessing Game Competition and Fundraising Raffle!
What a wonderful cause by two passionate and young hearts!
Fundraising for a Personal Cause
Jacob and Amariah noticed a homeless man on the streets of Parramatta one day and decided to do something about it.
They began to make their own biscuits to fundraise for blankets that could be donated to the homeless.
Since 2016, the two siblings have been making a real difference with their home-made biscuits.
The siblings are doing it again this year with the help of their youngest sister, 3 year-old Aria.
The children cut and shape each biscuit who say, “it’s like we’re giving them a hug”.
What a special fundraising idea to give back to those who need it the most!
