11 year-old Lulu is an energetic, bubbly girl who was recently diagnosed with retinis pigmentosa, a genetic eye condition that will eventually cause Lulu to lose her vision altogether.
At the moment Lulu has no night vision or peripheral vision and only about 10 per cent of her central vision.
Lulu's mother, Charmaine, told kidspot that her daughter has been amazingly resilient through it all.
"She's really tops. She's a great, bubbly girl who doesn't let anything get in her way," notes Charmaine.
