An official fundraiser has been launched after another family tragedy.
On 25 October 2016, four victims lost their lives at Dreamworld Australia.
The tragic incident took place on a water based theme park ride at approximately 2:20pm.
Three of the four visitors, from the same family, were flung from their rafts into a mechanised conveyor when they collided with another raft.
Kate Goodchild, 32, her brother Luke Dorsett, 35, and his partner, Roozi Araghi, lost their lives.
Kate leaves behind a partner and two young daughters Ebony, 12, and Evie, only 8 months old.
The Canberra community has come together to support them via an official online fundraiser.
The mycause fundraising page has been created by close family friend Sandra Brookfield.
All funds raised will be used to assist the children and their family.
Funds will be banked to a new trust account set up for the family and approved by Kim Dorsett, mother of Luke and Katie.
