Brand New Features!

At mycause.com.au, we are constantly striving to provide the best products and features, we are always taking on feedback and improving our platform, and with that in mind, we have created four new wonderful features for our events landing pages that will take your events to the next level!

Introducing; Fundraiser Tiles, Instagram Integration, Map Embedding and Countdown Clocks.

Fundraiser Tiles

This new layout option to display your top fundraisers makes each and every one of them stand out. The self-contained tile displays the hero image the fundraiser has used, as well as the campaign name and progress bar.

Choose to display 3 or 4 tiles per row, and up to 10 rows. This layout style is best for highlighting individual fundraising pages that are doing well, motivating your fundraisers to raise more and see themselves on your event landing page.

Instagram Integration

The Instagram Integration feature allows you to connect your charity Instagram account to your mycause partner dashboard and then automatically display posts from your Instagram feed or a hashtag of your choice.

This feature, which shows a block of nine Instagram posts, allows your supporters to click on a post and be taken directly to Instagram to like and comment, or follow you if they haven’t already.

Here is a step by step guide to integrating Instagram in to your event landing page.

Map Embedding

If your event is happening in a specific location, it’s one thing to give your supporters an address, but it’s a whole other level to show them the way.

With the new map embedding feature, you can display the Google Map of the address within the event landing page, so your supporters can “View larger map” and get directions from their location in less than 30 seconds.

Here is the “how to” embed a map in to your event landing page.

Countdown Clocks

A countdown clock on your event landing page is not only a great reminder to your supporters during the lead up to your event, but is also an important way to increase the urgency.

Whether you need them to register, start fundraising, or donate, the presence of a countdown clock on your event landing page tells your supporters that they have to hurry.

When you add a countdown clock, you get to choose the exact time and date it will reach zero, as well as what text will be displayed above it both before and after the countdown has finished. With a variety of layout options and the possibility for an image background, the countdown clock will really make your event stand out.
