The infection
Welcome to the Canberra Zombie Walk. Zombie walks have been spreading across the globe for several years, raising awareness and support for various charities, and now the infection is spreading to Canberra.
As part of the event we will be holding a number of smaller events through the year, such as trivia and music nights, to help raise even more money for the Brain Foundation.
Our next event is Brain Tease - a trivia and burlesque with lots of prizes and give aways.
The next Zombie Walk will be on Saturday 1 November followed by the Zombie Invasion after party.
The zombie walk involves participants dressing as zombies and the undead, who then limp, shuffle and walk through the city streets and malls. The walk is purely for fun and for those who enjoy dressing up, however we are also seeking to raise money and awareness for the Brain Foundation.
The Canberra Zombie Walk is a FREE event for all ages as well as a family-friendly event – so feel free to bring your little monsters along!
The dead will be rising and invading the streets of Canberra 1 November 2014. We will be meeting at Regatta Point at 3pm and starting the walk at 3.30pm. More details available closer to date.
