What is the Sholem Schlep?
In 2012, SACPA ran it's inaugural Sholem Schlep - a sponsored walk around Elsternwick Park. The event was a huge success with over $3000 raised by participants via online fundraising.
The Sholem Schlep is back in 2014, but this year we are hoping it will be bigger and even better. This year's event will feature six fun activity stations placed around the walking track and registrations will include a sausage sizzle at the conclusion of the event.
Fundraising Target
This year's fundraising target is $4,500, with funds raised being directed towards:

A term's SportyStars kindersports lessons for all Senior Kinder classes

Sports equipment for the Primary School's new Interschool Sports Program.
Online Fundraising
Online fundraising is so simple. As part of the event registration process, you create a personalised online Fundraising Page, which you can share with your friends, family, work mates by email, Facebook, Twitter etc. They can sponsor you and leave a message and all donors will receive their donation receipt immediately. It's so easy - all you need to concentrate on is schlepping for a great cause!

A prize will be awarded to the family and individual that have the highest fundraising total on the big day - so register and get fundraising today!
Event Details
What: Run, walk, scooter, pram or just plain schlep two times around Elsternwick Park (just under 3kms)*
When: Sunday 6 April 2014, 10.00am - 12.00pm
Where: Elsternwick Park, Corner of New Street and Head Street (http://www.bayside.vic.gov.au/living_in_bayside/venues_elsternwick_park.htm)
Registration: You can register as a family or an individual. Children under 11 years must register as part of a family.
