WHAT IS THE 'GIANT LEAP' CHALLENGE?

“One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”

The ’Giant Leap' Challenge is an adrenalin pumping charity event that gives you the opportunity to skydive for FREE while helping to raise money for the 2016 projects of Help-A-School Foundation.

By taking this small step … (it just happens to be out of a plane… a minor detail!),  you will help contribute to the welfare and educational needs of many children, families, schools and their communities in villages in Tamil Nadu, India.

Show your willingness to take a 'Giant Leap' for mankind…take the challenge, test your limits, face your fears, tick off that bucket list item and leave your legacy in the sky above Adelaide’s coastline.

Raise $1,000 and you jump for FREE!

+ PLUS... Register online before 29 Feb 2016… and you receive a FREE video and photo capture of your heroic step (and scenic fall) into space!

FAQ’s:

1. How much do I need to raise?
If you raise $1,000 or more, you receive your jump for free. If you fundraise less, you have two options; you can pay for your jump or you can choose not to jump and donate what you have raised. If you choose the second option, you will need to notify your donors, as they may not wish to donate if you don’t go through with the jump.

2. Where is the jump location?
We have partnered with Coastal Skydive, who have a convenient and scenic jump site located at Semaphore Beach. To see more about the Coastal skydive experience go to
www.coastal skydive.com.au

3. What happens on Jump Day?

You will be given a jump time before the day, so you can invite your family, friends and supporters to come along and watch. You will arrive at the Semaphore Surf Life Saving Club, and be transported by mini-bus to Parafield airport. After a safety briefing with your jump instructor, you will board the plane and enjoy a beautiful scenic flight along the Adelaide coastline. Your exhilarating tandem jump will occur at 11,000ft and land on the sands at Semaphore Beach...with your supportive crowd cheering you on!

4. Where does my money go?
A set portion of your fundraised amount goes to cover the cost of your skydive and video package. The majority of your fundraised amount goes directly towards supporting the communities in rural Tamil Nadu, India

5. How safe is it to tandem jump?
Coastal Skydives have a 100% safety history. You will be given safety training before the jump, and of course will be in the safe hands of one of their registered skydive instructors as you jump and land safely on the beach.

6. I prefer not to jump, how else can I help?
You can support the event by sponsoring someone who is participating. Go to the ‘Sponsor a Friend' button
or simply 'Donate Now'. You can also help to promote the event through your networks and social media links.
