The purpose of the 12 hour "CBD AFS Enduro" on the 21st of August, is to raise awareness for the John Maclean Foundation who was the recipient of our CBD Community Grant and to create a happy, fun and enjoyable event for the CBD AFS Team/s whilst attempting to raise more money via individual sponsorship across the different segments that will be participating: Commercial Banking, Retail, WIB/CBG/Treasury, Private Bank/BT, PFS & St George.
The individual sponsorship will be for the amount of time or distance travelled on a treadmill, exercise bike, cross trainer or a "hand cycle" for the participant who really wants to experience only being able to use your arms!!!!!
Our vision for the event:
Ten (10) pieces of equipment - Cross Trainers, Exercise Bikes, Treadmills & we are hoping to have a Hand Cycle as well. The location of the event will be on Level 23 at Kent Street in 'The Forum'.
Each AFS CBD Business Unit occupies a piece of equipment for the entire day and is sponsored by time or distance with all funds raised going to the JMF. This will create a happy, fun and enjoyable event with some healthy competition between the business units for the most funds rasied &/or distance travelled, whilst building/enhancing our "One Team" comradery across the AFS CBD teams.
