Josh Harrison was riding in a ute with his two friends when tragedy struck and they collided with another vehicle. Josh was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, where he remains in an induced coma with his family by his bedside.
When the news of Josh’s condition spread to other members of the family, his aunt Angela knew there had to be a way for her to help. Angela launched a mycause campaign to help cover the costs of her nephew’s recovery, saying that Josh was the “kindest, funniest, most genuine 19-year-old man” that needed the help of family and friends at this heartbreaking time.
Despite the serious medical issues currently being faced by Josh, his loved ones are determined to help him as much as possible. Josh’s story was featured in the Sunshine Coast Daily and on 7 News Sunshine Coast, with 64 donations to date and over 980 shares online.
