Coffs Coast CrossFit is challenging the community to join coach Ethan Anderson and row for mental health charity Headspace Coffs Harbour.
Ethan has undertaken the massive challenge of rowing 100km in ten hours on April 10th to raise awareness and funds for the charity cause that matters to him, and the community.
The Coffs Coast CrossFit team have also invited along members of the community to row alongside Ethan throughout the day, with various 1 hour timeslots up for grabs. Those who join Ethan for the row will aim to row ten kilometres during their hour slot and keep pace with the experienced coach.
Ethan told News of the Area that “The goal of this event is to complete a physical challenge, a 100km row, which requires great mental fortitude in order to help raise awareness and funds in support of the mental health of young people in our community.”
So far the event has raised over $2,000 of its $10,000 goal, which the gym are on track to reach in three weeks’ time when the event is held.
