MEDIA: Cycling for Cardiac Research

Rambam Hospital in Northern Israel is leading the way in cardiovascular care, but they want to do even better. The hospital is raising money to create a dedicated space for research and education about cardiovascular conditions through the Maccabi Cycling Club event, RAMBAM RIDE.

The RAMBAM RIDE will take place on the 4th of November, starting at 8am, and will be joined by local member of Caulfield David Southwick, as well as the Israeli ambassador, Mark Sofer. The 50-kilometer ride will take the riders through backroads, wetlands and a few bridges before finishing at the starting location for a free brunch and celebration of Israel’s 70th birthday.

The goal for the event is to raise $20,000 for Rambam Hospital. You can donate or register for free for the event at the RAMBAM RIDE to join in on the celebrations. Read more from Mark Sofer at jwire.com.
