MEDIA: Cargo 2 Grenfell Walk

Cargo 2 Grenfell walk first began in 2017 when a group of ten enthusiastic participants took part in a "trial walk". The event was a success and it was decided that the C2G was going to continue as an annual event. In 2018, the event was an even bigger success, exceeding all goals and expectations. The objective for 2019 was to grow in participation and impact; from July 2019, the C2G Walk was registered as a company with NFP status, which allows for growth and ultimately helps more people affected by mental health issues such as Anxiety, Depression and Suicide.

To date, the C2G walk has raised close to $50K for Mental Health over the last three years - a number set to grow with the 2020 walk. Rural and Remote Mental Health is the beneficiary for this year's event which took place from March 12-14.
