Fundraising to Kick Goals in Spain

Mary Hubeek is well known in the Australian Futsal scene, having been scoring goals and making her mark since she began playing over two-and-a-half decades ago at the age of 15.

This year, Mary is set to represent Australia at the 2022 International Futsal Alliance World Cup in Spain.

Commitment to the game means Mary is working out, training, and playing several times a week. Now she must also raise funds to cover the costs of reaching Barcelona in September to play as part of the AFA Women's Futsal Team.

“It’s a great opportunity I didn’t want to pass up so I’m really excited to get there,” said the Melbourne Evolution player.

Mary has set up a mycause fundraising page to get help raising the funds needed to cover flights and accommodation for the 10-day trip. Her friends helped her raise almost $5000.
