A generous community helps little Willow

THE Riverstone community have demonstrated just how generous they are, when friends and family of little Willow, held a fundraiser to help with the costs associated with her fight against an aggressive childhood cancer.

The Trash and Treasure fundraiser was held on Saturday, April 19 and family friend Kathleen Trott said the event was a very big success, raising an amount which will help Willow and her family with her treatment.

“The day was very enjoyable with lots to do for everyone including cake stalls, face painting, raffles, prize giveaways, a jumping castleand visits by the local police and Riverstone Fire and Rescue crew with their truck,’’ Mrs Trott said.
