O’Connell’s Hamper Claus is fundraising to provide charity Mums Supporting Families in Need with the funds they need to create hampers for their community.
Demand this Christmas is higher than ever after many catastrophic events have now collided with an increasingly high cost of living.
Charities are struggling to afford the items needed for their hampers as well as meet extra demand.
This issue is compounded by the fact that individuals give less during the Holiday Season, and this is predicted to be even lower in December 2022.
Mums Supporting Families in Need was trying to raise funds for 500 hundred more hampers as the demand for help has tripled this year.
With 22 days still left to donate, the Hamper Claus team have blitzed their goal amount.
The nearly $50,000 raised so far will help create more than 700 hampers and reach even more families!
