Ayden and I have been friends since age 5, his family and home have been second to my own as I spent almost half of my childhood around his house annoying his mother and sisters.
I consider Ayden more of a brother than a friend, I sure as hell know we fight like we're related!
A month or so ago I was informed Ayden's older sister Rebecca, was just given the ok to return to work after chemo.
Ayden has been living in Canada whilst I have been living in New Zealand so communication was short at times.
2 days ago I was informed Ayden was diagnosed himself and naturally after such things happening with his sister, money is going to be short.
I gave it a day to settle, then my brain told the rest of me to help.
So my original plan was to walk the End to End Bibbulman track but unfortunately due to bush fires the track will be closed for the majority of the year so the next best thing is walking the Cape to Cape down and up again!
My close friend Ayden ( 22 years old ) has been diagnosed with Cancer.
After his sister Rebecca ( 31 years old ) just beating it herself I want to help him beat it also.
