Charli Sparkes is a 5 year old girl battling leukaemia and has had to relocate with her mother from Barmera to Adelaide to undergo at least 8 months treatment.
After settling into school this year following the sudden passing of her father in May 2013, we thought things were looking up for her, her younger sister Jade and mother Tracey Voglesang. Whilst they were all still grieving their loss, they were adjusting and school was a great start for her.
However after being unable to overcome being sick for short time, her loving mother depended on her instincts and took her to Adelaide for a check up. The devastating news shocked the entire family and Charli had to adjust to the sudden change and gruelling treatments and tests. She has been incredibly brave and has quite a long road ahead of her.
Her mother is unable to work and has been required to relocate to Adelaide where Charli will be on a schedule in and out of hospital.
