In March 2013 our (then) 2-and-half year old son James was diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (assessed as moderate to severe due to his non-verbal capabilities).
Once the initial shock subsided (although we had suspected this being the case) we embarked on an intensive search for what would ultimately be the best course of action for James' development.
After trialling a number of therapy and treatment programs we settled on a regime of neurological, social connectedness through play, dietary and supplementation programs that have seen marked improvements in his receptiveness, cognitive function and social connectedness. These improvements often seem insignificant to others but to those of us who see him daily take great delight in the "little" milestones he achieves almost daily.
This cause has been created to continue our push towards a goal that, may be some way off but, with continued passion and positivity is a realistic target that we believe we can achieve. Through a range of donations, events and functions we aim to raise (through the generosity of people such as yourself) the necessary funds to continue James' progress.
Go Peter Go!!!
