Amy Attacks Asthma

Hi everyone! And thanks for joining me in my hope to help kids in Western Australia combat Asthma. As some of you may know, as a kid I struggled with severe childhood Asthma. It always made me feel different, abnormal and very scared. I was scared that I was going to grow up different from everyone else and that I wouldn't be able to live a normal life. But thankfully, I was wrong. With the right education and parents that knew how to raise a child to be healthy and active I can easily say I have conquered my life long challenge to breathe easy. To this day I have climbed and skied big mountains, I've mountain biked to the tops of the Sierra Nevadas and Rocky mountain ranges AND I run marathons. This winter I will run my sixth marathon in Perth. I'm so blessed and lucky to have phenomenal health and the ability to run! So, why not try and pass my message on through a cause that has affected who I am today! I run because I love it, but some people can't. I want to help those who have the dream to run, skip, jump or even just walk for what they love. Please join me in keeping hope alive to stay active no matter what you love doing!
