Our beautiful mum, (Chez, Chezza, Chezzy) Cheryl had her life shortened by a rare form of cancer, a soft tissue sarcoma called “unclassified pleomorphic sarcoma”.
Sarcoma is a rare cancer arising from bone, cartilage or soft tissue such as fat, muscle, connective tissue or blood vessels. They can form anywhere in the body, at any age, and their cause is largely unknown.
The Australian and New Zealand Sarcoma Association (ANZSA) aims to improve outcomes for sarcoma patients through research, education and awareness.
ANZSA’s running costs are funded by Cancer Australia which means the 100% of donations received are directed to high quality sarcoma research and trials to save and improve lives.
Thank you so much for your donation in memory of our beautiful Chezzy and for all the individuals and families facing the challenges of sarcoma.
May she be swimming freely with dolphins and running wild with her Dad.
We have no doubt she will have created her own swim squad, coffee group, and steak night gang by now.
