About
Exciting News! Team TWD is swimming for a cause!
We're proud to announce that a few of our Australian colleagues will be taking on the iconic Rottnest Channel Swim, a 20km open water swim from Cottesloe to Rottnest Island (Perth, Western Australia). Not just for the thrill of the race but for a noble cause – to raise funds for the Kai Fella Foundation.
Unfortunately, suicide is the leading cause of death among young (male) Australians. Many young people experience challenges navigating through a world of expectations and demands. The Kai Fella Foundation is doing remarkable work by delivering early intervention workshops on suicide prevention.
As TWD, having a chance of fun and development in life is at our core values. And being a firm full of young engineers, we deeply encourage the Kai Fella foundation in their mission to build emotional resilience and save lives.
By participating in the swim, Team TWD is dedicated to contributing to Kai Fella’s mission.
We provide free workshops in schools and clubs that allow young people to talk about their challenges without judgement and providing strategies to build emotional muscle with peer support.
