Cheryl Wilson's Fundraiser for Breast Cancer and L. Rigby Centre

The day of my second mammogram, I had a biopsy and I knew what the results would be. I cried for the 1 hour drive home, thinking about how I would tell my kids. I had to wait for a week for the confirmation, but I already knew what they would tell me. I had breast cancer.

It was the worst day of my life.

I am extremely lucky to have so many people who care about me and are supporting me through my journey.

One of my son's and his friends have all proudly grown their hair out and are now willingly ready to shave them off in support of this fundraiser and raising money for breast cancer and L Rigby Integrated Care Centre at Bass Coast Health. Pictured above are the wonderful boys who will be shaving their heads as part of our fundraising efforts.
