XCMG Corporate Boxing Event 2023 - Emma 'The Empress' Pryer

Hey Everyone,

I am proud to be representing Genesis Minerals, putting on my gloves and stepping into the boxing ring to raise money for mental health awareness. It's time to break the stigma and knock out the silence surrounding mental health. I am taking part in the XCMG Corporate Boxing Event 2023, on 25th November at Crown Casino. All fighters have been able to choose their charity of choice, with all profits from the evening being donated to Blue Tree Project.

I too have decided to fundraise and support Blue Tree Project. Blue Tree Project is doing amazing work, helping change the way we talk about mental health, spreading the message that it’s OK not to be OK. The blue trees now dotted across Australia and other parts of the world, act as beacons of hope and conversation starters. Blue Tree Project’s mission is to help spark difficult conversations and encourage people to speak up when battling mental health concerns.

This is me, being vulnerable, learning something new and stepping well out of my comfort zone, harnessing the power of focus, practice, resilience, and consistency! Learning to box hasn’t just challenged my body but has also sharpened my mind. Boxing teaches me discipline, focus, and the importance of consistent effort. I believe these lessons mirror the journey towards mental well-being.
