LET'S SUPPORT JESSICA!
September is Blood Cancer Month, and this year it is significant for our club. Recently one of our longest-standing and most recognisable GLAC athletes was diagnosed with leukaemia.
Jessica Berechree in the U17 age group has been with the club since 2014, has represented GLAC at State level since 2017, and even competed for NSW in the 5km Race Walk at this year's Australian Junior Championships just before her diagnosis.

Jessica is much-loved and easily recognised by her ever-present colourful socks and big smile. As a Club, we want to support Jess and her family through this incredibly tough time, and we know that many of you will be looking for ways to help. So here is what we are going to do:
