Our off grid homestead dreams were literally crushed and now our family’s livelihood hangs by a thread. On Tuesday the 27th of June our house that we had spent the last year and half and all our money building was crushed by a large tree. The tree also crushed our only source of water on the property a 24 thousand litre rainwater collection tank that burst and flooded in to our house. Our family is now homeless and moneyless we are trying to raise enough funds to cover a shipping container to safely store what belongings we have left, a new water tank so we can stay on the property and to help with any legal cost involved with fighting insurance. We are truly thankful and extremely grateful for any donations that will help us rebuild our dream.
