In the early hours of Sunday, 22nd January 2023, our dear friend Angus Catt, son to Sally and Jim and brother to Will, had a tragic accident while travelling in Korea. Sadly this has resulted in significant physical trauma, including chest, spine, and brain injuries.
After emergency surgery in Korea, Angus was placed into an induced coma in an attempt to save his life. Angus was in a Korean hospital for three weeks under specialist ICU care.
Angus is currently in critical condition and lifted by an emergency air ambulance back to Melbourne via the Avcair and Aspen Medical team from Korea to Melbourne. His medical expenses are rapidly mounting. We are asking for assistance in supporting Angus' medical costs.
Angus’s family is now facing expensive medical evacuation and Korean hospitalisation costs of well over $320,000 after his travel insurance company rejected his claim due to not spending $250 on his credit card on pre-travel expenses.
Your donations, however big or small, will make a huge difference and will be extremely appreciated.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts – your support means everything to Angus and his loved ones.
Angus is a larger than life, fun & cheeky character who has touched so many hearts with his beautiful energy.
He has always lived life to the fullest and has brought so many along with him on his journey.
'Let's do this for him' C'mon ANGUS

I’m glad to be in a position to contribute. I have no doubt that you’d all do the same, but that’s not the point. I cannot imagine the emotions you and your family are experiencing. Anything that can reduce your load is worthwhile. Much love.
