?I'm getting my Legs Out for Lymphoma!?
March is the beginning of Legs out for Lymphoma; Lymphoma Australia’s biggest fundraising event each year.
Every day, 20 people in Australia are diagnosed with Lymphoma.
Last February, my partner, Lisa was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s follicular Lymphoma. Throughout her treatment, both her and I utilised the services provided by Lymphoma Australia. Ranging from patient support groups to carer and family support sessions. Their help and guidance throughout Lisa’s treatment made the journey that little bit more manageable.
This month, I'll be raising crucial funds that help give Australians facing lymphoma all the support and information they need by being able to access Lymphoma Care Nurses, call the support line, and have access to specialised information. No one should face lymphoma alone.
In the spirit of getting my Legs Out for Lymphoma, I’ll be aiming to complete 80km of physical activity during the month of March. This represents the 80 sub-types of lymphoma.
My donation will match the number of kilometres completed, with $2 donated for each kilometre over the 80km target.
Please support me this month by chipping in any amount you can, or come smash some kilometres with me. Together 'legs' do it for lymphoma.
Thank you for supporting my efforts in raising money for this great cause ?
2nd donation to match my pledge of $2 per km over 80km.
