You won't hear her complain as she doesn't like to draw too much attention to herself, instead preferring to focus on her love of motorsport. But the founder of Girls Torque Motorsport - Sue - has had a rough couple of years, and she could use a little extra love.
Many of you know Sue has debilitating Rheumatoid Arthritis which has prevented her from being as active in the motorsport arena as she was in the past. But then a couple of years back she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The treatment only making her RA worse and landing her with additional health issues.
Then Covid hit (which is nasty on RA), followed by the Northern Rivers floods (thankfully Sue and her hubby still have a house to live in)
But most recently Sues husband was hit by a car while walking through their local town and will be in Lismore hospital for some time to come. (Our immense best wishes for a full recovery go out to him ❤️❤️)
No-one deserves this amount of bad juju, especially someone who has dedicated so much of their time and energy into her community and passion.
So instead of good wishes and flowers we'd like to give her something more practical by raising some funds that she can then use for whatever will make her life a little easier.
Just a little "Thanks Sue for all the work you've done. Us Motorsport girls really do appreciate you." ❤️♡ ♥?❤?
All funds will be collected by the registered charity "Therapy on Wheels" and transferred in total (no fees) to Sue.
