We are driving again for a great cause in this years 2022 Bulldust'n'Back charity rally. Whilst we expect to have 12 bucketloads of fun (see what we did there?), we will also be raising much needed funds for a VERY worthy locally based charity focused on giving at risk kids a real leg up in life through mentoring. 12 Buckets helps local children to flourish regardless of background or circumstance. The bucket imagine represents the underlying philosophy that fullness in life comes when you pour yourself out for others. The team this year consists of the following with 4 cars combining forces...or should we say "farces" to rattle the tin for 12 Buckets; 1. Car #77. Team Captains will be going with the theme "OKTOBERFEST" Previously flying the flag for Sweden and France, this year sees the crazy duckers Justin, Bianca and Xavier the expert navigator go a bit Kraut, and why wouldn't you in Oktober?? This will be their 3rd BnB having won the Trailblazer award in 2020. 2. Car #8. Jason Pearce and James Pearce are two determined bro's having competed in last years event in the most ridiculous care ever....they seemed to think it was a pretty "Smart" idea and ended up proving everyone wrong by winning the Best Theme. This year they are "turning Japanese" with a twist, the theme will be "Lightning McQueen", that's right it's everyones favourite NASCAR as the team pay homage to the famous character from the Cars movies. Who knows, maybe there's a Porsche on the run this year and they might find their Sally Carrera? What a lovely farce that would be! 3. Car #22 Jim Green and his son Jack, also seasoned BnB'ers, will be back in their mighty Citroen C3, this off-roading, mountain climbing piece of French engineering has proven itself on the 2020 Trial and will be back again this year to show us a all a little bit of "Je ne sais quoi"! Jack may well be the farthest travelled Bullduster, coming all the way from the land of the long white cloud, especially for this event! Kia ora! 4. Car #23. John and Marie Schelfhout are no strangers to rallying French cars and certainly no strangers to supporting the Trial having been corporate sponsors for the last couple of years. Like Jim and Jack their car is already BnB proven having competed in 2021. This year they will be going with a "Bananas in Pyjamas" theme, and why wouldn't you with a yellow car!? All 4 cars will be part of team Tour de Farce and hope to collectively raise over $10,000 for our charity. All 4 of the team have been long time friends and connected by either cycling, French cars or just having a bloody good time! Please consider donating any amount, it's really greatly appreciated and 12 Buckets genuinely needs every cent as they are not government funded. We will all be having fun, frivolity and a farce and will all be #drivingforchange
