Welcome to my fundraising page! I'm here raising funds to help cover the costs of competing in the World Transplant Games coming up in April 2023! I was lucky enough to receive a liver transplant in 1999 and it not only changed my life, but that of my family and all of those around us. Without my donor and their families loving sacrifice I would not be the person I am today. I'm so thrilled that I have the opportunity to attend and compete in these games, and I cant wait to give it my all. This competition is more than a competition to me, its a way for me to honour my donor and the sacrifice they made as a final parting gift when leaving this world. The proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly toward covering the costs of attending and competing in these games, with any additional funds going to Transplant Australia for them to continue to support the transplant community.
