If a boy had a chance, a chance to fundraise with you...
I will be seeing the great Aussie band Icehouse play on the steps of the Sydney Opera House on December 12th. Back in the ‘80’s Icehouse was topping the charts in Australia and was my favourite band.
In honour of Icehouse front man Iva Davies, who had one of, if not the best mullet in Australia, I will be growing my hair from now so that I can front up to the concert rocking a mullet unlike anything that has been seen on a mid(ish) 40’s man since 1989.
Why would I do such a thing??
Well, I’m taking this opportunity to share my embarrassment with as many people as I can so that I can raise funds for Children’s Cancer Institute Australia. The CCIA is the only independent medical research institute in Australia wholly dedicated to curing childhood cancer. Cancer cuts life short for hundreds of children in Australia every year, before they’ve even had a chance to make their mark. The CCIA hopes to change that.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to get to the same level of mullet excellence as Iva, but I’m going to give it a good crack.
You can follow my progress on Instagram and Facebook where I’ll be sharing my progress weekly
Go Nat! You need to keep the mullet!
