I had the pleasure of working on and off with Dave over the past 23 years having 1st met him over the phone back in 1999 regarding refractory anchors of all things. I even had the pleasure of meeting Dave and having a beer with him in Sydney on 2 occasions during that time. Dave was one of the friendliest people I have ever met and was always willing to go the extra mile to help out a colleague. My condolences go out to all his family at this sad time.

Having known and worked with Dave since the late 90's in the refractory industry I have come to know Dave as friend as well as a colleague. He is a true gentleman and it is a tragedy his grand children will not get to learn this for themselves. I will miss our regular catch ups/conversations about the industry, life and everything else in between. Take care my friend and gods speed to your next destination. Condolences to all the family in this time of great loss.
