Every year, Rob challenges himself to complete an ultra-marathon to raise money for a charity that is close to his heart. To date, Run with Rob has raised over $ 58,000 and he has big plans in 2022 to increase that amount!
In 3 weeks Rob will be pushing his mental toughness once again at Dead Cow Gully backyard Ultra. The event is held in Runnymede, Queensland starting on Saturday, 16 April 2022. It's not just a race, it’s a measure of human endurance running 6.7kms on the hour every hour until you can't push any more. Where is Rob's limit? Is it 5 or 15 loops? Is it 24 or 100 loops? The only sure thing is we know he is tough, he has put many training hours into this event and he is going to go hard and push for a charity close to his heart.
As you have seen in recent weeks in the media Sue and Lloyd Clarke are doing everything they can to HALT domestic violence. They cant get their beautiful daughter and grandchildren back but they are pushing hard to ensure no other family suffer as they have. Again Rob will be running for Small Steps 4 Hannah and we need your help to support his cause.
With Rob's workplace Boehringer Ingelheim matching dollar for dollar up to $2k we have a goal to reach 10k by the end of Rob's ultra weekend.
