This campaign to help cover the cremation and funeral service costs of our dear friend Robert Bango.

Robert lived his life only returning once to his homeland after escaping to England from Zimbabwe in his early twenties. Making his way to Australia and eventually to Byron Bay in 2009.

Robert, lovingly known as Bango was fully embraced by the Byron Community where he continued to pursue his love of music as a DJ and Radio presenter on community radio Bay FM.

Bango lost his battle with cancer in February this year and we want to send him home with love and honour. His ashes are to be returned to his family tribal lands and we need your help to make this happen.
