Hey Family and Friends!

In September this year, I will once again be joining the Parklands Christian College team to travel to Mitchell in Western QLD. I took part in this trip last year and not only was it such a blessing to serve within the Gungarri community, I was overwhelmed with how incredibly welcoming and grateful the Gungarri Elders were for our efforts and sacrifice to come out and help them restore their home.

While staying with the Elders, our aim as a team is to connect with and immerse ourselves in the rich culture and history of the Gungarri Nation. Ultimately, it is our hope to see the Gungarri Nation thrive and flourish once again. We wish to inspire and educate our College community to be challenged by our First People's history and therefore appreciate the richness of Aboriginal culture and appreciate it's importance in the Australian identity.
