Looking after Levi - A family's fight

Young Levi is battling cancer for the second time around at the young age of only 17.

At 7 Levi was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins T-Cell Lymphoma and he underwent 2.5 years of gruelling Chemo.

Sadly after feeling not well early in November Levi was taken for testing and has now been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.

The 1st and 2nd round of chemo did not work so he will now undergo another chemotherapy with has only a 50% chance of working.

In early January, after the 2nd chemo, he was suffering with deliberatting headaches, it was found he had a flesh eating bacteria/fungus growing in his sinus, due to low blood level his body and immune system were unable to fight off. He has since then had 3 surgeries to remove the bacteria/fungus from his system. He also was having 16hr IV antibiotics but this has just been reduce to over 2hours, thankfully.

His only chance to survive will all come down to a stem cell (bone marrow) transplant. We are on the look out for our match, please go to your local blood donation place and register on the bone marrow register. Tell everyone to register as there has to be someone that matches.

Levi is one of the most beautiful, well mannered hardest working kids you will ever meet he had a part time job, which he is unable to continue due to risk of infections. He has just completed year 11, will be studying year 12 online and has an IMMENSE love for his car that he has purchased and has, up until now been doing up with his own money with the help of his dad Mark.

Obviously times are going to get worse for Levi, and his family, so we want to try and raise some money to help Levi keep his dream alive, get his car to where he wants it to be, and to help his beautiful family survive the next few gruelling months ahead.
