This Christmas, Frassati Bambini have again partnered with Peruvian charity "Sembrando Esperanza" (Sowing Hope). This grassroots Catholic charity runs two homeless shelters in the south of Lima for individuals experiencing addiction, physical/mental illness, poverty and disability. They also work with the marginalised in Lima's shanty towns.
All donations go directly towards food, medicine and essential items for families living in Lima's shanty towns so they can experience a truly joyful Christmas!
We are also asking donors to "spiritually adopt" a Peruvian family. We ask you to pray a Christmas novena (9 day prayer) for your allocated family/individual and they in turn will be praying for you!
How can I get involved? (THREE easy steps):
1. DONATE: to "Sembrando Esperanza".** Please email frassatibambini@gmail.com if you prefer direct bank transfer.
2. PRAYER: following your donation, you will be emailed novena prayers and the name of a Peruvian family/individuals (the beneficiaries of the project). You are asked to join us in praying a novena for them from December 16 -24. The Peruvian family will in turn be praying for YOU.
3. PHOTO: Email a photo of you/your family that will be given to the Peruvian beneficiary so they know who they are praying for! We will also endeavour to provide you with a photo of your "spiritually adopted" family.
